<p>This collection includes an assortment marriage notices from Belgium state archives, spanning several centuries. Records include information about the date and place of marriage and the name, date of birth, place of birth and age of the bride and the groom. Many records include additional information about the couple, such as their occupation, place of residence, civil status and sometimes even the name of their previous partner. Records can also include information about the parents of the bride and the groom and up to 4 witnesses to the marriage.</p><br><br><p>These records have been digitized and made searchable by <a href="https://search.arch.be/fr/rechercher-des-personnes" target="">Les archives de l'État en Belgique</a>.</p><br><br>
